Can I just go to a chiropractor after a car accident?
If you have emergency warning signs, call 911 or use an emergency department first. If you are medically stable and dealing with non-emergency neck pain, back pain, stiffness, headaches, or other musculoskeletal symptoms, a chiropractic evaluation may be one appropriate next step. A chiropractor should still screen for findings that need imaging, emergency care, or another provider rather than assuming every post-crash symptom belongs in chiropractic care.
