If you have non-emergency symptoms that need evaluation, you do not have to wait for a claim to be finished before seeking appropriate care. The medical record should accurately reflect what you reported, what the clinician found, and what care was provided. Coverage questions belong with the insurer, and legal-rights or claim-strategy questions belong with an attorney.
